I just came back from pasar malam Singapore at Uni Union building. I enjoyed roti Canay and Kwei Thiauw. The committee sells many of Malaysian and Singaporean food such as kue lapis, bakpao, dumpling, satay, fish ball, kue mauchee (moci). They are pretty similar to Indonesian food, and in this case I will not argue about who deserve to claim to be the inventor of those foods. I guess some of those foods came or derived from chinese food. It does not matter who invented them, they are delicious and spicy. It’s been a while I don’t eat such spicy food, and I feel satisfied tonight. Heaven!
